Day 3 of rehab for Paul and all is going well. He is working very hard. He shaved off half of his mustache and beard today and then his new electric shaver that Kathi bought him ran out of juice. Hopefully tomorrow he can finish the other half.
He continues to improve every day and we are all amazed at how great he looks considering what he has gone through. He is still really enjoying visits from friends and family. This is great medicine.
Thanks for all of the continued support from everyone!

I SAW PAUL FRIDAY NITE AND HAVE NEVER SAW HIM LIKE THIS...BUT HE'S PRETTY GOOD, FROM WHERE HE WAS. I FORGOT TO TELL KATHI,WHEN SHE HELPED PAUL TO PEE LAST NITE, NOT TO SHAKE MORE THAN THREE TIMES....LOL
I will be excited to see Paul's new look...I visit the Anticoagulation Center weekly...perhaps I can show you the way, if you are so lucky to become a lifer on Coumadin! My Homatologist is at Evergreen. His name is Mat Lonergan...he WAS also a biker.
Whoever said; The golden years begin after 60, suffers from Dementia...it's a hell is what I say! One foot forward 10 feet back, but it's all worth the journey...it just means that you have to live longer to get there!
I've been so happy to hear all about your progress...your family is wonderful in keeping all your friends and acquaintances informed...you have a great support team!
As you know week-ends in the hospital are the pitts...try to put it all out of your head and enjoy the Masters!
I'm sure the girls at the club are all going to want to hear about Kathy giving you three shakes Paul! I'm looking forward to seeing you soon Kathi after you shake Paul off and can get back to golf.
Have a gr8 Masters week-end!

oops - I meant Hemotologist not Homatologist...Larry had the Homo- condition, not me!
Paul, I'm happy that you are working the rehab as hard as you can; with your work ethic, that will help tremendously. Have a shave must give you a rather unusual look, but by now you must look half decent, and are probably watching Tiger and the gang try to measure the Masters. Enjoy the week-end the best you can, and continue your dedicated rehab work.
