8:00 - no new news.

I'm trying not to call and wake anyone up so I don't have any new information. I am working today but will take my laptop with me and post something as soon as I get a call. Remember that you can hit the small word "comments" at the end of each posting to leave a message. Sarah has her laptop with her so they are reading the comments. Thanks!

Paul, Kathi, Sarah & Jen,
WOW, we are so sorry to hear about your accident and horrible injuries! But Paul, you're "young" and strong and this is just a really big "speed bump" in your life. When they cut back on the drugs, try to find your sense of humor again! And Kathi & Sarah, try to laugh at LEAST once a day (more is better, even if it's at someone else's expense). And if you're a "Grays Anatomy" wathcher, when you get bored you can start naming the nurses, doctors and techs after the T.V. characters (Dr. McDreamy should be the first one you look for Sarah!).
We hope Paul is out of ICU soon!
Hang in there, Sue & Steve Hansen

Thanks for doing this Julie. We are anxiously awaiting new information and news that Paul is doing better and out of the Trauma unit. Jen thanks for letting me know that you feel confident in his team of doctor's. I am hopeful you guys will finally get to talk to him soon. I can't wait to hear that he's yelping about that damn truck driver, that way we'll know he's really on the mend. We are praying for all of you.

My parents, Mark and Karen DiRe, sent me the update last night.

My wife and I send our thoughts and prayers out to Paul, his family and his fellow riders.

My wife and I live in San Clemente, CA and if there is anything you need, please let me know.

Take care

Hey Paul,
Our household is praying for you. When I first heard about this, I was really down. Then I remembered you made it through the 1964 parking lot fights between Terrace and Edmonds. If you can make it through those tough fights, you can make it through anything. You probably didn't see me because I was hiding behind my girlfriend. Hey Paul, when I close my eyes I see a big bear of a man with a smile from ear to ear. Cursing - maybe, loud - possibly, laughing and full of love for his family and friends - for sure. It is times like this that one realizes we don't see those close to us enough. Get home, get better and lets get together. Love Geno (Goosman)
(From Wendy Goosman). From the female side, I cried for your pain Paul. I hate to see people get hurt and especially those close to me. I am looking forward to getting together and and getting one of those big bear hugs. Geno said that he can't wait to have a shot of Port with you. It may not be an 80.00 shot but it will be a good one. Get better, fast. Love Wendy Goosman
