Foot surgery went well and there are currently no more surgeries scheduled. Tomorrow they will attempt to have him breathe on his own and lessen the sedation.
He is looking good as his face is beginning to heal.
Hope to have another update by Noon tomorrow with more good news.

This is great news. Sounds like Paul's condition is really starting to stabilize. Knowing Paul pretty well, he's one tough SOB, and I doubt he'll miss the chance to tell this story many, many times in the future. Get well, big guy.
Keith & I (Phil) Harnish just returned from San Diego to visit the Morris "clan" and they are positive, with beautiful smiles, oozing love. Paul is a tough guy and very blessed!
While we were visiting, Kathi was just "pettiing" so softly and lovingly. It was awesome to feel the care, love & mutual respect a loving family shares. God Bless you all!
You are all "angels" on earth. The heros that got Paul to the USA for care....thank you! After hearing about the ordeal....26 hours in 4 or 5 ambulances all paid by cash just to get him to the States. I guess we really understand the illegals coming across the border for medical care, for without $$, you don't make it there.
Kathi, Keith said he is looking forward to playing "Sorry" with Paul real soon. Love, Keith & Phil
PS-This is my 1st "whirl" at the blog thang. That's why it says anonymous. Keith wants to know where the Internet Building is? I wonder if Gore knows?
Glad to hear Paul is making great strides towards his recovery. I have daily phone conversations with Joanne. How wonderful for the Morris family to have such a great support system and loving friends. I am sure of one thing. Anyone who knows Kathi will know buy the time Paul leaves the hospital he will have beautiful looking cutical's.

Hey buddy, things are sounding better. Your boys up here are all wishing you the best and we can't wait to get your ass on the course. I might even be able to beat you for a little while until you get yourself back to normal. Can't wait to see you back in Seattle. Sounds like you've been through a lot and you'll probably be able to write a book about it. It's hard for all of us to believe the ordeal. We just wish you the best and a speedy recovery.
Who needs a dang pinky toe? I think they are rather useless. You should see mine...barely even qualifies as a toe. Can hardly polish the little sliver of nail. Useless, I say.
Seriously, Phil Harnish's comments brought tears to my eyes. She captured the essence of the Morris family perfectly.
Holding you in our hearts!

Keeping up with the great news on Paul's recovery. It is hard to be so far away when a friend is in need. If we can help in any way let us know. Bob and Janice Smith
